Mike DeMora | President and Director of Education


Mike has helped athletes from the NBA, NHL, PGA, MLB, and NFL as well as ordinary people get the most from their bodies. Mike had been the Director of Education for the prestigious Spectrum Health Clubs for over 6 years. He holds two Masters Degrees in Education and Sports Science and is close to becoming a Doctor of Naturopathy.




Adam James | Vice President and Director of Development

Adam James is the Vice President and Director of Development for the National College of Exercise Professionals. He is also the President and Founder of Rainbow Warrior Martial Arts and the co-creator of the NCEP – Rainbow Warrior Martial Arts MMA Trainer Certification. Adam is an Advanced Personal Trainer through the National College of Exercise Professionals and has also been certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, USA Gymnastics and Hawaii Special Olympics.



Barry M. Goldenberg | Chief Strategist and Media Director

As a certified trainer through the NCEP, Barry has been living NCEP’s model for health and fitness for almost a decade, with a new goal of expanding NCEP’s cutting-edge approach for aspiring personal trainers on the East Coast. Barry holds a B.A. in History, magna cum laude, from the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA), and an M.A. in Education from Columbia University in the City of New York.



Dr. Charles Foltz | Director of Research


Dr. Charles Foltz holds a Doctoral Degree in Interdisciplinary Molecular and Cellular Biology and a Masters of Public Health Degree in Epidemiology from Tulane University, and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Molecular Neuroscience from the University of California at Santa Barbara. In addition, he holds a range of fitness certifications.



Michael Pacheco | Regional Education Coordinator

Michael Pacheco has become an integral part of the NCEP cultural. After spending much of his adulthood as an accountant sitting behind the desk, he made that life changing decision to turn his passion in to a profession. he did not take this change lightly. He studied for months and months and went out and acquired his ACSM certification. It did not give him everything he was looking for. He decided to take the NCEP course and was hooked for life. He worked his way from being a certified trainmer to now becoming our Lead Instructor and Regional Education Coordinator. If yo take the class anywhere in Western United States, its a good chance you will be in one of his classes.


Zack Rissman | Director of NCEP International

Zack Rissman is certified by the National College of Exercise Professionals as an Advanced Personal Trainer and currently serves as the Director of Marketing for NCEP.



Nadine Young | Director of Pre-Post Natal Training program

Nadine has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiolgy from California State University – Northridge, and also has a personal trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has successfully completed the NCEP Holistic Health Practitioner program and is certified by NCEP as an Advanced Personal Trainer and Holistic Nutritionist.



Lara Scheunemann | Director of Pilates Program

Lara is the Director of the Pilates Program for the National College of Exercise Professionals. She is certified in Pilates by the Body Arts and Science Institute (BASI) and studied directly under Rael Isocowitz, the President and Founder of BASI. Lara also studied under Karen Clippinger, who teaches Dance Anatomy and Kinesiology at UCLA. In addition to Pilates, Lara is a very accomplished dancer and she attended the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music and was a Cheerleader for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals.


Gino Caccavale | Founder and Director of ReZist Group Exercise


Gino Caccavale is a former Police Academy drill instructor, Corrections Officer and Bounty Hunter with more than 25 years of fitness industry experience. At 50 years old he has amassed countless awards as a bodybuilder, physique competitor, Mr. Connecticut title and winner of the “The American Gladiator” competition.




Tom Kruszewski | NCEP Instructor

Tom is an NCEP Certified Personal Trainer and instructor. He is also certified by NASM. Tom is a native of Michigan where he excelled in ice hockey and track and field through college. He continues both recreationally today.




James Chang | NCEP Instructor

James has his BS in Kinesiology from San Jose State University and is certified as a Personal Trainer by the National College of Exercise Professionals (NCEP), as well as NASM and ACSM.



George J Cuevas Jr. | NCEP Instructor

George is a Fitness & Lifestyle Coach. Having operated under his own title since 2009, George has developed his path of Fitness into a Lifestyle.




Biyanka Ekmekcioglu | NCEP Instructor

Biyanka Ekmekcioglu has been in the Health and Fitness industry for 23 years and has been interviewed for numerous shows and articles including KITV morning, the fitness documentary “Made in the Gym”, Muscle Magazine’s television show and Muscle Mag , The Honolulu Magazine and Mid Week Newspaper.



LoJ’ai Marks | NCEP Instructor

Holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Arizona, LoJ’ai is a certified personal trainer, holistic nutritionist, and instructor through NCEP. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through NSCA as well as a certified yoga teacher.

Angela has an extensive (17 years plus!) Hatha background and practice including, but not limited to: Bikram, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Power, Yin. She was featured twice in South Bay magazine for “Intro to Hot Yoga” as physical fitness in RBUSD; currently teaches (hot) yoga and custom wellness in private/community/corporate settings in Southern California; and previously taught at Hot8 studios in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Manhattan Beach. Prior to full time yoga, Angela spent over a decade in corporate leadership roles as an HR Executive earning the coveted LABJ Top Twenty Finalist, Women Making a Difference in LA.
